LIBRARY
The library is not merely a place to borrow and read book, but a treasure trove of Information. At VIMT we have excellent collection of Multimedia Educational CDs and Software. This differentiates the library of VIMT from others. VIMT library has rich collection of books, periodicals, journals,, Magazines audio & video cassette & CD's for ready reference. VIMT library is consists of around 3633 books & 324 titles with a seating capacity of 125 students which indicates an earnest desire to deliver the facilities at par with the renowned Institution.
ART & CRAFT
VIMT has art & craft lab where various activities like waste material utilization, toy making activities, , pot decoration, flower arrangement candle making, painting wall hanging, chart & model making activities are promoted. By these activities our students learn the art of preparing which will help them to improve their teaching methods & develop their creativity.
EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY LAB
VIMT has a computer lab with latest computers having multimedia internet connectivity .the lab also equipped with overhead projector, DVD Writer, CD Writter ,Color TV, DVD Player, LCD Projector, Digital Camera, Audio Video Aids, Educational CD & other equippments. Each student is trained in the group for preparing computer assisted teaching material related to their subjects of specialization.
SPORTS & MUSIC
The College possesses a fully equipped Health and Physical Education Resource Centre and a well prepared vast green grassy Playground. The resource centre is equipped Tabla, Dholak, Harmonium, Basuri etc. Music lab facilities and Football kit, Cricket Kit, Badminton, Gymnasium and all other sports facilities are available as per NCTE norms for B.Ed. Students.
LANGUAGE LEARNING LAB
It is well equipped lab which has all the facilities for B.Ed. students as per NCTE norms. In the lab computer set, Micro Processor Control System, Web Camera, More than 20 head phones, Original CD with Keys and all other desired facilities are available for the students. We have also lingua Phone facilities for the students as per NCTE norms for B.Ed. Students.
PSYCHOLOGY RESOURCE CENTER
VIMT psychology lab is provided with apparatus for simple experiments related to educational psychology such as intelligence test, creativity test, attitude test, aptitude test etc. There are also CDs related to these tests. The Psychology laboratory fulfills the purpose of equipping the student teachers with the knowledge of the tools and equipments used for assessing the psychological traits and further the skill of using the equipments and drawing inferences from the results. as per NCTE norms for B.Ed. Students.
SCIENCE & MATHMATICAL RESOURCE CENTRE
It is a modernized and well equipped lab which has all the desired facilities for the students. It is a neat and clean well maintained lab which provides all things which required for the B.Ed. students for their experiments and work. It is arranged that students could have full guidance and assistance while they are working in the lab.
ICT/ COMPUTER RESOURCE CENTER
To keep pace with developments in teaching-learning methods with the help of computer / internet, Vivekanand Institute of Management & Technology has equipped its ICT lab with around 35 computers packed with relevant software e.g. for usage of the students and enabling them to access updated knowledge and practice with World Wide Web and for enhancing and practicing computation skills.
