Electronice & Communication

The college provides students with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The computer labs have the latest configurations and are supported by equally high quality software's. The ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION labs are:

1. Analog Integrated Circuit Lab:

Study of operational amplifier (741IC), which is used to perform a wide variety of linear functions and also some non-linear operations & perform mathematical operations such as summation, subtraction, differentiation and integration etc. and some wave/pulse generation function.

2. Computer Organization Lab:

Computer organization lab is concerned with the way the hardware components are connected together to form a computer system. The various components are assumed to be in place and the task is to investigate the organizational structure to variety that the computer parts operate as intended.

3. Digital Electronics Lab:

Digital logic is concerned with the interconnection among digital computer and modules and is used to denote the design and analysis of digital system. In this lab Boolean algebra & truth tables are used for the analysis and design of combinational circuit and state transition techniques for analysis and design of sequential circuits.

4. Electronic Workshop & PCB designing Lab:

Electronic circuitry has undergone tremendous changes since the invention of a triode. In those days, the active components & passive components (like resistors, inductors, & capacitors) of the cuts were separate & distinct units connected by soldered leads. Development of printed circuit boards further reduced the size of electronic equipment by eliminating bulky wiring and points.

5. Microprocessor Lab:

Study of 8085 & 8086 microprocessor & interfacing with several cards e.g. PC to microprocessor & microprocessor to PC. Microprocessor, peripheral & interfacing cuts & devices deals with assembly language programming of Intel 8086/8085 up. It describes how to interface various peripheral devices with a microprocessor and gives electronic circuitry & programs.

6. Instrumentation & measurement Lab: -

In this lab the scientific and technological progress depends on its ability to measure, calculate and finally, estimate the unknown precisely & correctly. The electronic instruments amplify the I/P signal and passes vary high sensitivity.

7. Computer Aided Design Lab:

CAD tools are available to generate and edit the electronic circuits on a computer. The schematic description of the digital system is captured. This process is supported by libraries of standard parts that are places to compare an implementation. Another way to describe a digital system is through V H D L, P-SPICE.

8. Project Lab:

In this Lab, different electronic circuits are made by different electronic components with new technology & these electronic circuits are useful for the development & programs of our nation.

9. Electronic Circuit Lab:

This lab includes the wave description of C. R. O. and find out the gain and characteristics of different electronic components and circuits with the help of bread board.

10. Communication Lab:

In this lab the basic principles in the analysis and design the modulation and demodulation techniques of analog & digital signal.

11. Microwave & Optical communication Lab:

In this lab the concepts of transmission line studied. The concepts of traveling waves, standing waves, propagation factor & characteristic impedance are presented for a dissipation less transmission lines are also included. In optical communication lab. Fiber optic technology has been developed mostly for use in communication. A communication system depends on two technologies. i.) fiber optic technology which involves light source and detectors and the fiber itself. ii.) Communication technology which relates to the processing of data, modification and demodulation etc. Fiber system is particularly suited for transmission of digital data such as that generated by computers.

12. Digital Signal Processing Lab:

Digital processing of a signal facilitates the sharing of a signal processor among a no. of signals by time sharing. Digital implementation of a system allows easy adjustment of the processor characteristics during processing. Such type of adjustment are often needed in adaptive filters with digital filters, linear phase characteristics can be achieved.
